As is tradition in our school, the sixth class will host the final cake sale of the year on Friday, June 24th. Make-A-Wish Ireland is the charity they have chosen this year.
Make-A-Wish Ireland has one simple aim – to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions and to bring hope, strength and happiness. Since 1992, Make-A-Wish has granted wishes for more than 2,781 brave children across Ireland, including 181 wishes in 2019 alone.
Needless to say, this is a charity that is close to all our hearts. We hope parents and guardians in all classes will send in cakes and give the children money to donate to this worthy cause.
