Welcome back to school everyone. We reopen on Thursday morning at 8:40am. for the odd classes and 9am. for the even classes. We just have a few reminders for parents, guardians and pupils ahead of our return.  Please see our other posts on isolation guides and vaccine registration.

PARENTS AND GUARDIANS

  • Please do NOT congregate in the  carpark or at the gates
  • Do not delay when dropping and collecting
  • Maintain social distancing and wear a mask in the vicinity of the school
  • Keep your child at home if sick
  • Keep us informed of absence reasons through Aladdin
  • Fill in the return to school form on Aladdin after any absence
  • Ensure your contact details are correct on Aladdin

close contacts

Any child deemed a household contact regardless of vaccination status or prior infection must restrict their movements.

Children who are deemed close contacts through a school  pod or class should do antigen tests but can continue to attend once they remain negative.

Keeping Warm…tracksuits allowed

  • We have decided that children can wear their tracksuits or uniforms from now to the February midterm as the classrooms may be quite cold. We recommend children wear extra layers underneath so they can keep their coats for when they go outdoors.
  • It is essential that every child brings a warm coat to school.
  • Please  also ensure your child has sanitiser and wipes in their bag . This is really important as they need to wipe their desks before eating each day.

Masks from 3rd up

  • Please view the attached video on  mask wearing  in our school. Children from 3rd up are required by the government to wear a mask.
  • They need a well fitting mask and a spare each day.  They also need a ziplock  bag to store their mask in while they are outdoors.
  • Children should put on their masks before they enter the gates each morning.

Masks will not be worn in the yard and at PE. The teachers will bring the children out for extra  fresh air breaks during the day.

We are looking forward to welcoming all our lovely pupils back this week. Happy New Year!
