Following a Green Schools inspection, we are delighted to announce that our school has been awarded the Green Flag for Water from an Taisce and Green Schools Ireland.
During our campaign, we helped to raise awareness of the importance of conserving our supplies of clean water. We also reduced water usage in our school.
We would like to give a special note of thanks to Mr. Ivers, our caretaker, and all of our Green School class representatives for working so diligently on this campaign. A big thank you also goes to Ms. G. Fay and Ms. Moriarty for all their work .
Our school was also commended for the excellent work we have done on securing our Waste and Litter flag.
